Below are the requirements for selecting Certification Central as your training program.

Is there interstate reciprocity between ND and Minnesota?

     Yes, if you hold the ND teacher’s license/certificate.

If I go through Certification Central, do I first need to obtain a ND teaching license and then apply for a license in Minnesota where I want to teach?

     Yes

Do I need to have actual teaching experience in ND?

     No

If I enroll in Certification Central, what are the steps to getting a license in Minnesota?

     Review the requirements for a Tier 3 License (the one you will be eligible for) at:

Then follow the instructions on “The Apply for My First License” page under the “Coming From

Another State” category at: https://mn.gov/pelsb/aspiring-educators/firstlicense/
